The legend began as most do, with a grain of truth.
Oct. 2nd, 1925, is when one chapter closed and another opened.
The Church Hill tunnel had been collapsing since its inception in 1872.
Taking lives every few months, as if the hill was hungry.
Finally closed in 1901, the steady consumption of lives ceased.
Or so they thought...
